Calling all FMSEA members!

National Marine Educators Association Annual Conference

We just returned from a wonderful NMEA Conference in Annapolis, MD and now we’re ready to start our own conference planning. Please read on for details about the FMSEA 2015 Conference and NMEA 2016 (did I mention that FMSEA is hosting?!)

FMSEA 2015: May 1 – 3, 2015 in Tampa, FL

NMEA 2016: June 25 – July 1, 2016 in Orlando, FL  fmsea.org/nmea16

We’re looking for some eager FMSEA members to serve on our Conference Committees. If you are interested in helping with either the 2015 or 2016 Conference (or both), please e-mail Kasey at president@fmsea.org. Here are some areas where we need help:
  • Concurrent Sessions
  • Exhibits
  • Auctions
  • Field Trips
  • Speakers/Special Guests
  • Hospitality
  • Technology
  • Events (i.e. SciCafe, Banquet)
  • Transportation
  • Publications (i.e. signs, Conference program)
  • Sponsorship & Fund Raising

Last but not least, if you attended NMEA 2014, we would love to hear from you. What did you like? What would you like to see more of? Please send your feedback to nmea16@fmsea.org.

We hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,

Kasey Gaylord-Opalewski, 2014-2015 FMSEA President
