Privacy and Disclosure Policy
FMSEA.org and FMSEA.com are Web sites run by the Florida Marine Science Educators Association, Inc., a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization operating in the state of Florida.

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the visitor’s domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible).
We collect the domain name and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, the e-mail addresses of those who make postings to our blog, aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit, information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, disclosed when legally required to do so, at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation, to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our Web site and applicable laws or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our Web site.

We do not make the e-mail addresses of those who access our site available to other organizations.
If you supply us with your postal address on-line you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address.

If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and we will use for these new purposes only data collected from the time of the policy change forward. Visitors may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by e-mailing us at the above address. Upon request we may offer visitors the ability to have factual inaccuracies corrected in information that we maintain about them.

Our blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. We believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts we make on this blog. Such content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.
We are not currently compensated to provide opinion on products, services, Web sites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on our blog are purely our own. If we claim or appear to be experts on a certain topic or product or service area, we will only endorse products or services that we believe, based on our expertise, are worthy of such endorsement.
