Call for Presenters
FMSEA invites you to propose a session at our 2015 conference. Topics on marine and ocean conservation, new and innovative marine science content, research, activities and curriculum are encouraged. All concurrent sessions will be Saturday, May 2. Please complete and submit a Call for Presenters form by: 5:00 PM March 15, 2015. *NMEA 2015 | JUNE 29-JULY 2, NEWPORT, RI*

There are scholarships and stipends available to attend the National Marine
Educators Association (NMEA) 2015 Conference in Newport, Rhode Island, June
29- July 2, for NMEA members, non-members who represent and/or educate
underrepresented minorities in science, and traditional knowledge
practitioners and experts. Deadline for all three is March 15.

*SARASOTA BAY ESTUARY PROGRAM – BAY PARTNER GRANT APPLICATIONS DUE | MARCH 2, 2015*

The purpose of the SBEP Bay Partners Grant Program is to promote environmental education, awareness, community involvement, and stewardship to improve the overall quality of Sarasota Bay and its tributaries. To support these goals, funding is available from SBEP for projects that focus on Bay Education, Bay Restoration or Bay-Friendly Landscaping.

Applications for the 2014-15 Bay Partners Grants must be received by 4pm on March
2. Visit the Bay Partners Grant.

Ticket Price: $12 (per ticket per lecture) for Mote members. $15 (per ticket per lecture) for non-members. Students, teachers and volunteers without membership can purchase tickets at the member rate with a discount code by contacting lecture@mote.org or calling (941) 388-4441, ext. 348.
Ticket sales at www.mote.org/lecture. Tickets must be purchased in advance. A limited number of tickets might be available at the door on lecture nights, but we cannot guarantee availability. Tickets are non-refundable unless Mote cancels the lecture.
